Se podría decir que Christopher había vivido de todo, y todavía no tenía 30 años. Humilde de orígenes, vividor, oportunista, aventurero .. ya mientras estudiaba en Cambridge había viajado a Francia y había realizado labores de espionaje para la reina como agente secreto. Su problema es que vivía al límite y nunca rehusaba una buena reyerta y por ello se había creado numerosos enemigos, y si bien estaba acostumbrado a los problemas legales nunca habían sido tan graves como los que ahora le acechaban. Había sido acusado de traición a la reina, de blasfemia, e incluso de conductas sexuales inapropiadas y eso estaba muy castigado en aquella Inglaterra.
You could say that Christopher had seen it all, and still he wasn´t 30 years old. Y es que esta es una de las teorías que más me gustan de las que existen sobre la autoría de las obras de Shakespeare. No digo que sea cierta, pero los que la defienden, consideran extraño que alguien sin casi estudios como el bardo, del que tampoco se conocen viajes, del que no se conserva escrito alguno, escribiera esas obras. Todo ello sin embargo si encajaría con la figura de Marlowe, con muchos más estudios y conocimientos vitales. También es algo extraño que siendo de la misma edad, a los 29 años Marlowe tuviese ya una amplia obra literaria y Shakespeare estuviera inédito y que las obras de éste aparecieran justo después de la supuesta muerte de aquel. Es como que a William, la inspiración le surge de repente a partir de la muerte de Marlowe. 
And this is one of the theories that I like of which there are about the authorship of Shakespeare's plays. Siempre me ha llamado la atención las sensaciones que se viven en las gradas del Bernabéu. Es este el primer año en el que voy regularmente y no puedo evitar estar pendiente de todo lo que pasa. El otro día hubo un detalle que me trajo recuerdos y una reflexión que permitidme que comparta con vosotros. La jugada se produjo en la banda. Marcelo recibió haciendo un control con la pierna izquierda y ante la llegada del rival le hizo un sombrero maravilloso. La grada hizo un Ohh! de admiración. Ya había visto esta expresión otras veces; recuerdo en especial las ruletas y los controles con ambas piernas que hacía Zidane, por ejemplo. Todo esto me encanta, pero no me impresiona...Puede que suene a sacrilegio pero es la verdad..
I always pay attention to the sensations that people lives in the bleachers of the Bernabeu. This is the first year in which I go regularly and I cannot help but be aware of everything that happens. The other day there was a detail that brought back memories and a reflection that allow me to share with you. The move came in the band. Yo esos detalles técnicos ya los había visto en mi barrio, en el fútbol de barrio que jugábamos en descampados con porterías de postes de piedras, chaquetas y mochilas.  No era como ahora que hay campos por todas partes y a los niños les llevan sus papás en coche y como mini-estrellas se calzan botas de marca de colores, cuchichean tapándose la boca y hacen teatro cuando el rival les toca buscando engañar al árbitro. Nosotros bajábamos a la calle, hacíamos los equipos en el momento, rara vez había el mismo número de  jugadores en cada equipo y empezábamos a jugar partidos que a veces duraban dos horas o más,..sin cambios, porque nadie se quería cambiar, arbitrando nosotros mismos, discutiendo si era o no gol.. con deportivas baratas que te tenían que durar según te decía tu madre mientras se quejaba de que no ganaba para zapatillas ni para rodilleras de pantalones..

Cuando destacabas un poco, te "fichaban" de algún equipo que jugaba ligas municipales de barrio y ahí ya jugabas en serio, entrenabas, te asignaban un puesto y aprendías algo de táctica. A mí me pasó y gracias a ello recuerdo a uno de los mejores jugadores que he visto nunca. Le llamaban  "el Cruyff" y era maravilloso a sus catorce años. Jugaba de medio centro adelantado, a veces media punta. Controlaba el balón perfectamente con ambas piernas. Tenía un regate seco impredecible, que le permitía salir por ambos lados y un disparo con la derecha bastante potente. Sus desplazamientos en largo eran inmensos y de cabeza tampoco iba mal. Visión de juego descomunal. Para que os hagáis una idea, era una especie de Iván de la Peña, inmenso jugador, de lo mejorcito que yo he visto. Todo lo que he visto hacer a los profesionales, se lo vi en su día hacer a él, incluyendo goles directos desde el corner, chilenas, espuelas... Este chaval debería haber llegado, pero su mala cabeza se lo impidió. Familia desestructurada, malas compañías y malas decisiones le hicieron caer en las drogas y ahí se acabó todo para él. Su cuerpo y su vida se echaron a perder..

No se que fue de él, pero si alguna vez leyera esto, me encantaría que supiera que muchos le recordamos en el campo, con la medias bajadas, distribuyendo juego y metiendo goles. Ganamos gracias a él tres ligas seguidas. ¡ Esos años fuimos grandes Cruyff..! recuérdalo siempre 
I don´t know what happened to him, but if he ever read this, I'd love him to know that many of us remember him in the field, distributing game and getting goals. We won thanks to him three consecutive leagues. Those years were great Cruyff..! always remember that!

Y este homenaje al Cruyff de mi barrio me gustaría que sirviera al Cruyff de verdad, a Johan, grandísimo jugador y personaje. Todo lo que es Holanda y el Barca en fútbol se lo debe a él. Espero que supere su enfermedad.

El otro día volvía yo al Monpassa, ya sabéis,  aquella cafetería-librería ubicada en pleno barrio de las letras de Madrid, a la que suelo ir. El lugar estaba últimamente más concurrido, supongo que porque se estaba beneficiando del flujo de gente que llegaba de visitar el convento de las Trinitarias en el que se habían encontrado los restos de Cervantes. El fenómeno mediático había hecho efecto y un buen número de turistas, siguiendo las indicaciones de sus guías de bolsillo, acababan deambulando por las callejuelas y costanillas buscando un lugar en el que sentarse y tomarse algo refrescante. Era lo mejor que podían hacer tras recibir un buen baño de ese sol amable que tenemos en  mayo en Madrid.  Probablemente sea este el mejor mes para disfrutar de esta ciudad.

The other day I was returning to the Monpassa, you already know, the cafeteria and bookstore located in the barrio de las Letras in Madrid, which I tend to go. Llegué con tiempo y, tras saludar a los propietarios Patxi y Carmen y pedir mi primera cerveza Alhambra, empecé a buscar por las estanterías algo que leer. Había libros y revistas de todas clases, y me decidí por una que en mi juventud o casi infancia quizá, siempre me había gustado. La compraba mi padre y la disfrutábamos los dos.  Se llamaba y se llama MUY INTERESANTE y muchos de sus artículos realmente lo eran y comprobé que lo seguían siendo.

También votar en las elecciones, sin urnas, papeletas ni colegios electorales, y si bien esto último todavía no se ha cumplido, lo veremos seguro.

Yes, it is. According to a study of an American university or something like that, people who listen to alternative music, rock or heavy are more intelligent than the rest. Además de lo anterior,  se hizo una medición objetiva de inteligencia a gente que prefería este tipo de música y los resultados fueron superiores a la media, sobretodo en lo que se refiere a la capacidad de abstracción.  El estudio lo hizo la Universidad de Warwick, en el Reino Unido (Ahí Rafa se percató de su error al imputar el estudio a una universidad americana)  y presentó sus resultados en la 18ª Conferencia Anual de la Asociación para la Ciencia Psicológica-.

Nadie lo tenía muy claro y tras las búsqueda de Carlos en internet, creo que tampoco lo entendimos del todo, por lo que quizá inconscientemente refutamos esa teoría de que éramos muy listos. Por lo visto, es una capacidad que permite extraer de la información que recibimos de un determinado hecho la parte fundamental, en última instancia esquemas lógicos y matemáticos. Eso nos permite ligarlo con otros hechos distintos en su configuración pero iguales en su fundamento lógico. De esta manera se pueden establecer esquemas que relacionan ambos fenómenos. Si no lo entendéis es que tampoco sois heavies, o sea listos.

 Me quedé pensando en lo de liberar tensiones. A mí me pasa con esta música. Llego a casa después de un día horrible en el trabajo, con el tráfico o lo que sea, me siento, o mejor me tumbo en la cama y con la luz apagada me pongo los auriculares y al rato me encuentro mucho mejor. Podría parecer que lo mejor para relajarse sería  escuchar Chill Out, el sonido del mar o cosas así, pero al menos yo, prefiero el estímulo que el rock me proporciona. Es quizá parecido a la sensación que te produce una buena sesión de ejercicio físico tras un duro día de trabajo de oficina o de estudio. No es exactamente igual pero es parecido. Te libera, te relaja y te descansa.
I kept thinking about in the release tension. This happens to me with this music. I come home after a horrible day at work, with traffic or whatever, I feel, or better I lie in bed with the lights off put my headphones and while I find much better. It might seem that the best to relax would be to listen to Chill Out, the sound of the sea or things, but at least I, I prefer the stimulus that the rock provides me. It is perhaps similar to the feeling that it gives you a good session of physical exercise after a hard day's work of office or study. It is not exactly the same but similar. It liberates you, relaxes you and rests you.

Y es que por lo visto, escuchar música a un volumen alto hace que el oído interno desencadene un estímulo para que el cerebro libere endorfinas y produzca sensaciones placenteras. Eso es lo que por ejemplo hace conmigo la relación de temas que arriba he ligado. Es una muestra, podrían ser muchos más. Va con los días.  
And apparently, listening to music at high volume makes the inner ear to trigger a stimulus so that the brain release endorphins and produce pleasurable sensations. That is what makes for example with me the relationship of subjects above I've linked. It is a sample, it could be many more. It goes with the days.

Habíamos dejado a Rossi, recordad el dueño de la tienda de discos en la que, por azar había yo entrado en Nueva York, buscando en sus "tesoros" y sacando viejos discos de aquel año 69 maravilloso. No se si iba a hablarme de Led Zeppelin o de Creedence pero el caso es que una llamada telefónica le hizo  interrumpir su tarea. Por el gesto que hizo entendí que la conversación no sería muy breve y decidí seguir recorriendo la tienda. No pude evitar fijarme en la música que sonaba de fondo, la misma que en su momento me había hecho entrar allí . El hijo de Rossi, Sonny, era el responsable y he de reconocer que creo que tenía buen gusto. Luego, comentándolo descubrí que su padre no estaba del todo de acuerdo. La música que a su hijo le gustaba era demasiado potente según dijo.-
